centroiding Thermo profile data

      Hello MaSH, does anyone have any experience converting Thermo .raw files from profile to centroid? I have inadvertently acquired some very important data in the former and need it in the latter.

      Hi, Chris,
      You could convert the .raw file from thermo by the msconvertGUI.
      Our metabolomics.uoa.auckland.ac.nz VM has the latest version of that.
      below is a short induction picture to show you how to use it.

      BTW you can enlarge the attached picture by using “Ctrl + +” or “open the image in a new tab”.

      Thanks, George. That does seem to be the only solution. The only problem is I ultimately need the data in CDF format and there’s currently no way to convert from mzML to CDF.

      So I wrote my own file converter!

      Happy to share with anyone else who might benefit.
