Research Fellow Support Grants

These grants are an extension of our “Try-MS” grants, to provide practical support for sample preparation, sample running, and data analysis/interpretation for preferably short term, specific and highly focussed objectives. The proposed work must be completed by 31 March 2021. Principal Applicant must be a member of academic staff (includes Research Fellows). Students (Hons and above) are eligible to apply with support from their supervisor. Instrument Use Grants

These grants are aimed at supporting a new user of mass spectrometry who wants to see what the technology can deliver, to develop novel mass spectrometry methods, or to enhance data for grant applications or manuscript publication in higher impact journals. Applicants can expect approximately $500. Principal Applicants must be a member of UoA staff.  Students (Hons and above) are eligible to apply with support from their supervisor. Travel Grants

These grants are aimed aimed at supporting a UoA researcher to attend a conference/workshop/lab visit related to mass spectrometry, or to support a visitor to present a seminar/workshop at the university in the area of mass spectrometry. Awards will be for approximately $1,000. Principal Applicants must be a member of UoA staff.  Students (Hons and above) are eligible to apply with support from their supervisor.
