Software

Analysis for GC-MS data  is supported by the following software:

  • MassHunter
  • Chemstation
  • AMDIS
  • NIST08

Access to the above software is available on a PC in 301-515 or on the Small molecules Virtual Machine.

Support

Email Githal Arachchige for all enquiries related to small molecule GC-MS.

Considerations

  • User need to do sample prep themselve and provide SPME fibre if doing SPME
  • Data analysis, data management, and quality of data are solely the responsibility of the user.

Limitations

Small, volatile or semi-volatile molecules only.  We are not an accredited lab so any findings cannot be used as official diagnostic tools, food safety measures, or quality assurance testing.

Cost

Per sample costing. Contact Githal Arachchige for details.
