Agilent 6530B Q-TOF LC-MS/MS (ACSRC)

The Agilent 6530B Q-TOF LC-MS/MS is a high resolution mass spectrometer instrument suitable for analysis of multiple small molecule targets in complex samples as well as characterisation of intact protein, including antibodies.

Overview

The Agilent 6530B Q-TOF LC-MS/MS combines the separation power of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with the higher mass accuracy and detection power of a Q-TOF instrument and provides high levels of sensitivity and selectivity for targeted analysis of small molecules in complex samples such as tissue homogenates, blood, or lysates from cell cultures. The electrospray ionization (ESI) source is equipped with Agilent Jet Stream technology that uses super-heated nitrogen to improve ion generation and desolvation, which leads to greater signal and reduced noise. The higher mass accuracy enables analysis of multiple small molecule targets in complex samples as well as characterisation of intact protein, including antibodies.

Features

  • Mass Range: 50-20,000 m/z
  • Mass Resolution: >20,000 MS; >10,000 MS/MS
  • Ionization Sources: ESI
  • In-line UV/Vis absorbance detector
