Anna Radionova graduates with a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics.
Her thesis, titled Theta-Channel Emitters for Nano-Electrospray and Mass Spectrometry, studied fluid dynamics and mixing processes in binary microfluidic systems under static electric fields. She estimated a range of reaction times that could be achieved with the use of theta-channel glass capillaries. Results of her research can help to study conformational changes and binding processes of proteins on the micro-to-milliseconds time-scale, which are important for understanding of a protein structure and function.
Congratulations Anna!
