AOMSC 2020

8th Asia Oceania Mass Spectrometry Conference

WELCOME TO THE 8th ASIA-OCEANIA MASS SPECTROMETRY CONFERENCE
(AOMSC 2020),
JANUARY 5-7, 2020
HONG KONG

The theme for our conference is “The Art and Science of Mass Spectrometry, from Fundamentals to Applications.” This three-day meeting will feature daily parallel sessions of plenary, keynote and oral presentations, in addition to daily poster sessions. Topics will be broadly themed, ranging from fundamentals, instrumentation, and ion spectroscopy to biomedical and clinical aspects of mass spectrometry.

The conference will be held at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Located in the mid-levels of Hong Kong Island, the University is conveniently served by the metro, buses, and taxis. Established in 1911, HKU is the oldest university in Hong Kong, and is delighted to receive guests to AOMSC 2020.

Financial Support

The conference strives to be as accessible as possible for students and postdoctoral fellows to foster the next generation of scientists; hence, funds have been secured to reduce the costs for these trainee delegates. If you fall into these categories, or if you have students and/or postdoctoral fellows in your group, please do take advantage of this excellent opportunity for career development!

Note that ANZSMS also offers International Travel Awards (maximum normally $1000) for Australian/New Zealand postgraduate students to attend an international mass spectrometry conference. Students should complete the downloadable application form on the Financial Support Guidelines page of the ANZSMS website.
