Prof Christian Hartinger, from the School of Chemical Sciences, has been selected as the recipient of the 2019 Morrison Medal from the Australian and New Zealand Society for Mass Spectrometry (ANZSMS), in recognition of his pioneering research into the development of organometallic anticancer agents and studies on their modes of action using ESI- and ICP-MS techniques.
The Morrison medal honors the contributions of Professor Jim Morrison to the development of mass spectrometry in Australia, and is awarded in recognition of significant achievements in an area of mass spectrometry by a mass spectrometrist currently residing in Australia or New Zealand.
Christian will receive the medal and present the Morrison lecture at the upcoming ANZSMS27 conference in Auckland Jan 30 – Feb 3. Congratulations Christian!
