Visit from Professor Jennifer Van Eyk

On the 31st August the FMHS Post-doctoral society have the pleasure of hosting Professor Jennifer Van Eyk who is going to give not one but two talks.  She is a world leader in the field of cardiovascular proteomics and has been at the forefront of translating proteomic research into clinical outcome as well as the handling of big data coming out of omics research.  Her first talk will be on her research which is detailed below, the second talk will be on her sucessful career and her professional philosophy which will be of interest to all early career researchers no matter what their field of research.
